Sai Inaugurates Dialysis Center at Community Health Center, Kunkuri

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai virtually inaugurated a four-bed Dialysis Center at the Community Health Center, Kunkuri, from the CM Camp Office in Bagia today. This marks a significant step in expanding healthcare services in the district, ensuring that patients from Kunkuri and nearby areas no longer need to travel to Ambikapur or Ranchi for dialysis treatment.

A Major Step in Expanding Healthcare Services
CM Sai emphasized that his government is committed to making healthcare services accessible to all. With the establishment of the dialysis center in Kunkuri, patients will now receive quality treatment close to home, eliminating the need for long-distance travel. He highlighted the continuous efforts being made to enhance healthcare infrastructure in Jashpur district, ensuring prompt, accessible, and advanced medical care for its residents.

Reaffirming the state government’s dedication to improving healthcare, CM Sai announced that a 220-bed modern hospital has also been approved for Kunkuri, further strengthening medical services in the region.

Dialysis Services Now More Accessible
Under the National Health Mission, the Jashpur district is actively working to provide free dialysis services to poor and needy patients. Currently, dialysis units are operational at:

District Hospital, Jashpur (5-bed dialysis unit)
Community Health Center, Pathalgaon (3-bed dialysis unit)
Now, with the addition of a 4-bed dialysis unit at the Community Health Center, Kunkuri, more than 75 kidney patients in the district will benefit, saving them from long and difficult journeys for treatment. So far, 217 patients in the district have undergone a total of 18,171 dialysis sessions.

The inauguration event was attended by Raigarh MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Shri Krishna Rai, Vice President of the Surguja Development Authority & MLA Smt. Gomti Sai, newly elected Duldula BDC Shri Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, along with several local representatives and villagers.
