“Sacrifices of our soldiers will not go in vain, we will eliminate Naxalism: Shah

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, on the second day of his Bastar visit, met with the families of the soldiers martyred in the Naxal attack and the victims of Naxal violence at Amar Watica and expressed his deep condolences.
While discussing with the families, Union Home Minister Shri Shah said that you have lost your loved ones in a long and painful battle, this pain cannot be reduced. The central and state governments are with you. To immortalize the sacrifice and dedication of the martyrs, the Chhattisgarh government is working to preserve their memories.
He said that just as you all have lost your loved ones, no one else should have to lose theirs. I pay my respects to all the soldiers martyred in Naxal attacks and those who lost their lives. I assure you that we will completely eliminate Naxalism from the land of Maa Danteshwari.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah said that the security agencies and police personnel of the Government of India are working strongly on the Naxal front. With a precise strategy of the last one year, the scope of Naxalism has been reduced and phased work is being done to accelerate a lot of development works. The Central Government is providing full support and cooperation to the Naxal eradication campaign in Chhattisgarh. He said that the government is working on three fronts to eliminate Naxalism. Those who have left the path of Maoist extremism and surrendered are being welcomed. Those involved in Naxal operations are also being arrested, and those who are bent on taking the lives of others are being answered in their own language.
Union Minister Shri Shah said that the Chhattisgarh government has fixed one day in a week in the office of the Director General of Police to listen to the problems of the families of the martyrs. Appreciating the initiative of the government, he said that the collector should also be present in the IG’s office and be a part of this campaign. Union Minister Shri Shah said that no one can reduce the pain of losing loved ones, but we will create a system that can reduce your suffering.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the sacrifice of your family members will not go in vain. The Central and Chhattisgarh governments will take care of your interests together. We are all determined to do whatever is best for all of you. He expressed his condolences to the families and paid homage to the martyrs.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it is a matter of great happiness for us that whenever our soldiers have achieved success on the Naxal front, Union Home Minister ji has encouraged them and always patted them on the back. Today also, he has come to encourage you and to congratulate you for your courage and determination. He said that the Chhattisgarh government will install statues in the villages of the martyred soldiers to preserve their memories.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that we wanted to meet the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for peace and progress in Bastar and the families affected by Naxal violence. You are all part of our family and the pain of losing loved ones gives us all equal pain.
On this occasion, the families of the martyred soldiers and the families of the citizens affected by Naxal violence were present.
