Review of Progress of Investment and Development Works in Nava Raipur

Raipur, October 14

A review meeting on the progress of works related to investment, infrastructure development, and public amenities was held today at the Naya Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority, chaired by the Minister of Finance, Housing, and Environment, Shri O.P. Choudhary.
During the meeting, Minister Shri Choudhary held a detailed discussion with officials on the planned and rapid development of the city, stating that the balanced, modern, and fully equipped development of Nava Raipur is the state government’s top priority. He directed the departmental officials to complete the ongoing projects within the stipulated timeframe and with quality, to provide better urban facilities to the citizens. He informed that the target for capital expenditure under the state government’s budget for this year has been set at ₹1000 crore to accelerate development works. Everyone should work with dedication to achieve this target with quality.
Minister Shri Choudhary also instructed that construction works on land allotted to government and private institutions and builders be completed quickly and in a coordinated manner, to further strengthen the infrastructure of Nava Raipur. Various points related to encouraging investment, environmental protection, infrastructure development, and the upgradation of urban public amenities were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
On this occasion, the Authority’s Chairman Shri Ankit Anand, Chief Executive Officer Shri Chandan Kumar, along with other senior officials, were present.
