A delegation of citizens from Rajnandgaon district paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Committee Hall of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Addressing the delegation, Chief Minister Sai stated that the government is working consistently and transparently in the interest of the public. He emphasized that administrative processes are being modernized and made online in a phased manner, thereby ensuring that services are accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for all citizens.
Highlighting one such innovation, the Chief Minister noted that on April 24, marking National Panchayati Raj Day, Atal Digital Seva Kendras were launched in selected gram panchayats across the state. These centres now offer banking services directly at the village level, marking a major step toward digital empowerment in rural areas. He added that more gram panchayats will soon be integrated into this initiative to expand its benefits further.
The Rajnandgaon citizen delegation expressed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Chief Minister for the establishment of Prayas School, Nalanda Campus, and several other important development initiatives in the district.
On the occasion, Speaker of the Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, remarked that the district has witnessed significant progress in the last one and a half years in areas such as drinking water expansion, road construction, and other infrastructure projects. Development works worth over ₹600 crore have been approved, directly benefitting both urban and rural populations. He said these efforts reflect the government’s strong commitment to public welfare and holistic development.
Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the delegation that the state government is firmly committed to steering Chhattisgarh on the path of sustainable, inclusive, and balanced development.
Also present on the occasion were former MP Shri Pradeep Gandhi, Shri Komal Rajput, representatives from the three-tier panchayat system, and other prominent citizens from Rajnandgaon district.
