Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is continuously striving to strengthen and expand healthcare services in Chhattisgarh.
Taking another significant step in this direction, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated a 100-bed, well-equipped district hospital at Bada Bazar Chirmiri in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced approval for a 100-bed hospital setup at Janakpur Community Health Center, sanctioning of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDOP) post in Bharatpur, and grid power supply to Chirmiri, Khongapani, and Jhagarakhand.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Surguja MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Smt. Renuka Singh, and many other public representatives were present on the occasion.
The district hospital in Chirmiri has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The hospital has 8 medical specialists and facilities for 80 types of lab tests. The hospital has 7 OPDs and 4 operation theaters, of which 1 operation theater is operational. A proposal to convert it into a modular operation theater has been sent to the state government. Additionally, the hospital also has an 8-bed ICU. With the establishment of this hospital, needy people will have access to high-quality healthcare services.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is focusing on strengthening the infrastructure in the health sector. Expanding healthcare facilities in the state is a priority of the government so that people can easily access good treatment. The Chief Minister inspected the various wards, rooms, and facilities provided to the patients in the district hospital, inquired about the health of the patients present, and presented them with fruits, wishing them a speedy recovery. He advised the health department team to work with a sense of service.
On the inauguration of the district hospital in Chirmiri by the Chief Minister, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed happiness and said that today the district has received a big gift in the form of a 100-bed district hospital. The government’s priority is to make quality healthcare services accessible to the people, and the Chirmiri district hospital will fulfill this expectation. He further said that the people of the district now have a better hospital, which will provide great convenience to people in the field of medicine.
Chief Minister Sai announced the supply of electricity from the Chhattisgarh Energy Department’s grid on the demand for electricity supply in Chirmiri, Khongapani, and Jhagarakhand. Chief Minister Sai announced the approval of a 100-bed hospital setup at Janakpur Community Health Center. Considering the administrative facility, the Chief Minister has approved the appointment of a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Bharatpur.
