Providing Quality Healthcare Services to Remote Areas of Chhattisgarh is Our Top Priority: CM

The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is continuously working to strengthen and expand healthcare services in Chhattisgarh.

Taking another significant step in this direction, Chief Minister Sai today inaugurated a fully equipped 100-bed District Hospital at Bada Bazaar, Chirmiri, in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur region.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the approval for setting up a 100-bed hospital at the Janakpur Community Health Center, the approval of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) position in Bharatpur, and the announcement of grid-based power supply for Chirmiri, Khongapani, and Jhagarakhand.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Surguja MP Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Mrs. Renuka Singh, and several other public representatives were present at the event.

The Chirmiri District Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The hospital has appointed eight medical specialists and provides 80 types of laboratory tests. It features seven OPD sections and four operation theatres, one of which is operational. A proposal has been sent to the state government to convert the operational theatre into a modular operation theatre. Additionally, the hospital has an eight-bed ICU facility. The establishment of this hospital will provide high-quality healthcare services to those in need.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Ssi stated that the state government is particularly focused on strengthening the healthcare infrastructure. Expanding healthcare facilities in the state is a priority of the government, so that people can easily access quality treatment.

The Chief Minister inspected various wards and rooms of the District Hospital, inquired about the health of the patients, and wished them a speedy recovery by offering them fruits. He advised the health department team to work with a sense of service.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal expressed his happiness at the inauguration of the district hospital in Chirmiri by the Chief Minister and said that today, the district has received a major gift in the form of a 100-bed district hospital. The government’s priority is to make quality healthcare services easily accessible to the public, and the Chirmiri District Hospital will fulfill this expectation. He further stated that the people of the district now have a better hospital, which will provide significant convenience in the field of healthcare.

The Chief Minister announced the provision of electricity supply through the Chhattisgarh Energy Department’s grid for Chirmiri, Khongapani, and Jhagarakhand. The Chief Minister also announced the approval for setting up a 100-bed hospital at the Janakpur Community Health Center. Additionally, the Chief Minister approved the establishment of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) position in Bharatpur, keeping in mind the administrative convenience.
