Prime Minister’s Visit to Chhattisgarh on March 30: MoS Tokhan Sahu and Deputy CM Review Preparations

Preparations are in full swing for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Bilaspur on March 30. A massive public gathering will be held at Mohbhattha village in Bilha. Today, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Tokhan Sahu, and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao conducted a site inspection to assess the preparations. They held a meeting with officials to review the arrangements and issued necessary directives.
Prominent attendees included MLAs Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Dharamjeet Singh, Shri Sushant Shukla, Mayor Smt. Pooja Vidhani, Secretary of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department Shri Bheem Singh, IG Shri Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Shri Avneesh Sharan, SP Shri Rajnesh Singh, along with senior officials from the district administration and police department.
Thorough Site Inspection and Instructions for Smooth Arrangements
Union Minister Shri Tokhan Sahu and Deputy CM Shri Arun Sao inspected various designated sections of the ground to ensure proper arrangements. Shri Sao expressed that it is a matter of great honor that Prime Minister Modi is coming to Chhattisgarh with development projects worth thousands of crores. He instructed officials to ensure that beneficiaries face no inconvenience and that local residents are not disturbed by the event. He emphasized that all departments must fulfill their responsibilities with utmost seriousness.
Both leaders conducted a detailed inspection of the entire venue, covering the helipad, stage, seating arrangements, barricading, exhibition area, parking, and security measures. They held discussions with officials and provided necessary guidelines for smooth execution.
Key officials present included DFO Shri Satyadev Sharma, Bilaspur Municipal Commissioner & Event Nodal Officer Shri Amit Kumar, and District Panchayat CEO & Assistant Nodal Officer Shri Sandeep Agrawal, along with officers from various departments involved in the event’s preparations.
