Prime Minister Modi’s Guarantees Rapidly Fulfilled in Chhattisgarh: CM Sai

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the promises made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi are being fulfilled at a rapid pace.
Speaking at a program held at the JMP Government School campus in Takhatpur block of Bilaspur district, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for 134 development projects worth ₹451.25 crore.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed materials and cheques to 3,883 beneficiaries under various government schemes. Responding to a request from Takhatpur MLA Shri Dharamjit Singh, the Chief Minister announced the increase of bed capacity at the Takhatpur Community Health Center from 30 to 50 beds, sanctioned ₹1 crore for constructing a chaupati (marketplace), and allocated ₹5 lakh for celebrating Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti, among other significant declarations. He also handed over appointment letters to 142 selected employees of the education and health departments.
The program was attended by Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Shri Tokhan Sahu as the chief guest and was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, who commended the district administration for its innovative bike ambulance service. He noted that since its inception in March in the Kota block of Bilaspur district, the bike ambulance service has benefited 4,089 patients across various demographics. It has been instrumental in ensuring regular health check-ups for pregnant women, child vaccinations, and treatment of seasonal diseases. The service has also facilitated institutional deliveries for pregnant women in remote forest areas and safely transported mothers and infants back home post-delivery.
Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted that his administration has curbed potential scams, including those related to liquor and coal, through good governance. He noted that the CBI inquiry into the Public Service Commission (PSC) as promised by the Prime Minister has begun, and the commission’s examinations are now conducted with utmost fairness and transparency, enabling the sons of farmers, laborers, and the poor to secure prominent positions.
The Chief Minister also announced that night landing facilities would soon be available at Bilaspur Airport. He emphasized the benefits of the “double-engine government” model and reiterated his administration’s strong stance against Naxalism. He vowed to eradicate Naxalism by March 2026, bringing development to highly affected areas under the Niyad Nellanar scheme. The Chief Minister stated that the first anniversary of his government was being celebrated as Janadesh Tihar (People’s Mandate Festival).
Union Minister Shri Tokhan Sahu, in his address, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare. He mentioned the approval of 18 lakh housing units for the poor and the disbursement of two years’ pending bonuses to farmers in a single installment. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao called the day historic, highlighting the Chief Minister’s gift of ₹452 crore worth of development projects to the district. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade also addressed the gathering.
The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including MLA Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Amar Agrawal, and other public representatives.
