Deputy Chief Minister and Minister In-Charge of Bilaspur District, Shri Arun Sao, today chaired a meeting with officials in Mohbhatha to review preparations for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit on 30 March.

After reviewing the work done so far, he directed that all tasks be completed by 25 March. Shri Sao expressed that the Prime Minister’s visit to Chhattisgarh, especially Bilaspur, is a great honor for the state. He said, “There is great enthusiasm among the people for this visit. They are eagerly awaiting to make this event historic and memorable.”

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao instructed that a special cleanliness drive be launched across the district from 25 March to 29 March before the Prime Minister’s arrival. He asked newly elected corporators, Panchayat members, and other representatives to be part of this campaign.

Sao inspected the preparations for the venue and the parking area being developed nearby and provided necessary directions to the officials. Senior officials from the state government and district administration, including Additional Chief Secretary and Bilaspur’s In-Charge Secretary, Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, IG Shri Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Shri Avnish Sharan, and SP Shri Rajnesh Singh, were also present during the inspection.

Reviewing the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao stated that Bilaspur has the honor of hosting the Prime Minister’s state-level program. He emphasized that this is a great opportunity to showcase the state’s plans in their best form to the people of the entire state. He added that people from all over the state would be attending the event and that it is important to convey a positive message through this program. “They will be our guests, and we must give them due respect and ensure they do not feel like outsiders,” he said.

Shri Sao also instructed the Public Works Department officials to conduct a road repair campaign in Bilha and other parts of the district.
