Pandiram Mandavi of Bastar receives Padma Shri Award, CM Sai Extends greetings

Pandiram Mandavi, a resident of Bastar region, has been conferred the prestigious Padma Shri Award for the year 2025 by the President of India Droupadi Murmu.
He has received this honor in recognition of his remarkable and outstanding contributions in the field of tribal musical instrument making and woodcraft artistry.
Shri Mandavi’s dedicated efforts in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the traditional Gond and Muria communities have not only brought the art of Bastar to a national platform but have also become a source of inspiration for future generations.
