Padma Shri Anuj Sharma’s performance enthralls the audience

The second day of the Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival 2024-25 witnessed a captivating display of cultural performances at the Raipur Science College ground. This colorful event showcased a unique blend of Chhattisgarhi folk traditions, rich culture, and modern music.
The event began with a spectacular performance by the Arug band. Padma Shri Anuj Sharma and his team mesmerized the audience with their rendition of traditional Chhattisgarhi folk songs and modern tunes.
Anuj Sharma set the stage on fire with his Ram bhajan “Hari Anant, Hari Katha Ananta”. Following this, songs like “Jhan Bhoolav Ma Bap La” dedicated to parents and the folk song “Chhaiya Bhuinya La Chhodke Jawaiya” left the audience deeply moved. The soulful rendition of Dadariya songs like “Mate Rahibe” made the audience groove.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma also graced the stage and enhanced the festival’s aura with his performance. He won the hearts of the audience by presenting the famous poet Laxman Masturia’s songs in his own style. His singing showcased the simplicity and depth of Chhattisgarhi folk songs.
“Dayra Band brings the beauty of Bastar alive”
Furthermore, the Dayra band enchanted everyone with their performances of “Aisa Jaadu Hai Mere Bastar Mein” and “Bailadila Bailadila”. This performance, featuring artists from Mumbai and local singers from Bastar, brought alive the rich culture and unique natural beauty of Bastar through their songs. The audience was deeply moved by the unique amalgamation of Mumbai artists and local artists from Bastar, showcasing the rich folk culture and natural beauty of Bastar.
During the event, the extraordinary blend of Chhattisgarh’s folk culture, traditional art, and modern music made the Youth Festival a memorable occasion. On this occasion, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, President of the State Youth Commission Shri Vishwa Vijay Singh Tomar, people’s representatives, and a large number of youth who have achieved in various fields were present.
