Our Government is Committed to the All-Round Development of Chhattisgarh: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today presented a gift of 47 development works totaling ₹140.96 crore to Bemetara district. These include the Bhumipujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for 27 projects and the inauguration of 20 projects. Addressing the public meeting organized on this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that by living up to the trust of the people, the state government is fully committed to all-round and inclusive development. He said that the government’s goal is to implement development works on the ground with speed and transparency in the state.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government is working for the comprehensive development of the state with transparency, accountability, and commitment. He informed that work is being done rapidly in the state in the fields of roads, drinking water, health, education, and urban facilities, which are directly benefiting the public. On this occasion, he announced the construction of a barrage on the Shivnath river in village Amora, the establishment of a 33/11 KV power substation in Singhara, and the opening of a middle school in village Basni. The Chief Minister also observed the exhibition put up by various departments at the program venue.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is continuously working to make villages self-reliant and empower farmers. He said, “We have fulfilled most of the guarantees of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in a short time.” The Chief Minister informed that paddy is being procured in the state at the rate of ₹3100 per quintal for 21 quintals per acre. Farmers have been provided two years’ outstanding bonus, and 18 lakh homeless families are receiving the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Under the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, financial assistance of ₹1000 per month is being given to women to make them self-reliant. He also informed that Tendu leaves are being procured from collectors in the state at the rate of ₹5500 per standard bag.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government is working by giving top priority to villages, the poor, farmers, and women’s empowerment. Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel said that the state government is running the Public Distribution System (PDS) with transparency so that no family remains hungry. He said that the Chief Minister’s intention is that the benefit of development should reach the last person in society.
MP Shri Vijay Baghel said that the state government is fulfilling the promises made to the public with complete integrity and commitment. He said that development works are progressing rapidly in rural districts like Bemetara, providing relief and better facilities to the general public. MLA Shri Dipesh Sahu also addressed the program.
The event was attended by Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Cultural Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Technical Education Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb, Shri Prahlad Rajak, MLAs Shri Ishwar Sahu and Smt. Bhavna Bohra, Awadhesh Chandel, Shri Labhchand Bafna, Chairman of Telghani Board Shri Jitendra Sahu, along with many public representatives, representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions, and a large number of villagers.
