Our Government is Committed to Delivering Good Governance to the Last Person: CM Sai

We have declared the year 2025 as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’ in memory of Atal Ji. This year, the focus is entirely on quality development work. With the motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, and Sabka Vishwas’, it is the responsibility of every citizen to continuously monitor the development and construction works in their area and contribute to building a developed Chhattisgarh state.

Chief Minister Sai said this while addressing the inauguration and foundation laying ceremony of development works worth Rs 141 crore held at Gram Jugra in Balod district.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is committed to delivering good governance to the last person with a focus on education, health, irrigation resources, and road maintenance. What is called Ram Rajya in ancient Indian texts is good governance. The sunrise of good governance has happened, it has been possible only due to your love and immense public support. We are confident that your trust will remain unshakeable. Together, we will build a developed Chhattisgarh from a developing Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s dream is that no Indian will sleep under the open sky. Every citizen will have a pucca house. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, more than 31 thousand families in Balod district have benefited from the scheme of constructing pucca houses. More than half of these houses have been built. The rest are being constructed. He congratulated and wished the beneficiaries who have entered the new houses.

Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development works worth Rs 141 crore at a program held in Gram Jugra, Balod district. On this occasion, he also announced the construction of a 400-seater auditorium in Balod and a dome set for the expansion of facilities for devotees at the Banjari Mata Temple located in Jugra.

The Chief Minister said that the Nalanda campus will soon be constructed in Balod, and its approval has also been received. He appreciated Veena Sahu, a resident of Jamruwa village in Balod, who is serving as a Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and wished her a bright future.

Chief Minister Sai said that there is a large number of tendu leaf beneficiaries in Balod district, and in their interest, we have ensured the purchase of tendu leaves at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard bag by increasing the additional rate by Rs 1500 per standard bag. We have performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the lining repair and reconstruction of the canals of the Matiyamati reservoir in Daundilohara development block. This canal, to be built at a cost of around Rs 30 crore, will provide sufficient water for irrigation to farmers.

The Chief Minister said that about 1.5 lakh farmers in Balod district have benefited from the Kisan Unnati Yojana. An amount of Rs 686 crore has been transferred to their accounts for the paddy sold in the Kharif season of 2023-24, which has brought prosperity to the farmers. The farmers are happy. We believe that when our food producers are happy, everyone’s life will be happy. We have also given a balance bonus amount of Rs 223 crore to more than 1.5 lakh farmers in Balod district last year.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that under the guarantee of Modi ji, there will be no shortage of funds for development works in the government of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. MP Shri Bhojraj Nag also addressed the program. A large number of dignitaries were present on the occasion.
