Mumbai police arrests foreign national with cocaine

A team of Mumbai police arrested foreign nationals with cocaine to the tune of around Rs 39 crore. The arrested include three Nigerian men and a Brazilian woman.
The foreign nationals arrested with cocaine were identified as Neras Pokhogo, Michael Hop, Simon Agobata, all Nigerians; and Karle Ires, a woman from Brazil, informed police sources.
Sources averred that following a tip-off that foreign nationals were planning to send some drugs to South Africa, a team of Amboli police swung into action and nabbed them. During the course of search, police personnel recovered drugs worth Rs 39 crore.
The accused were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. A local court remanded them in seven-day police custody.
