Indus Net Technologies (INT) recently announced employee centric benefits concerning Coronavirus. The information was highlighted by its Chief Executive Officer cum Founder Abhishek Rungta in the quarterly Town Hall through digital platform on April 23.
Highlighting the advantages, he mentioned that it is primarily related to COVID-19 insurance for employees as well as their immediate families additional to the existing medical policy.
Rungta also communicated the employees that even if the lockdown ends, INTians will continue to work from home as he believed that it’s important for activities which need people to go out should be given priority
He further shared a company update, which states, dip in average sales. However, he is confident of going forward with no pay-cuts for the coming months.
He started the session by saying- “We should show gratitude towards the almighty for the life and work we have in this tough situation.”
Various tips and tricks to stay healthy during the pandemic, emphasizing that physical, as well as mental health, is of utmost importance while maintaining social distancing were shared by Rungta.
For mental stability he recommended all the employees to meditate, read books, hang out with your colleagues digitally, and follow a healthy routine. As all his co-workers are facing a mix of personal and professional life, he shared a few tips on how to achieve the utmost focus for an efficient and effective outcome. He said, “We need to make this new normal and run the business smoothly. We will match the pace of the world and also outpace them.”
Later on, the world record holder mountaineer and techie Satyarupa Siddhanta, also joined to conduct a motivational session. Siddhanta shared his passion for climbing the highest mountains in the world. He left everyone astonished by showing how mental balance helped him succeed in all the impediments. He quoted- “If you are not chasing your dreams, It’s just a wish. In life, you reach a point where you can listen to your fears. Use that as fuel to accelerate your chasing.” He explained how important it is to take a look around and adore the miraculous architecture of nature.
The event was part of forced business operation from home due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
