Campaigning reaches feverish pitch for Himachal Assembly elections

In Himachal Pradesh, the campaigning for the ensuing assembly election is at its peak these days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed two election rallies in Rait town of Kangra and Sundernagar town of Mandi districts.

Mr. Modi appealed people to vote in favour of BJP for a corruption free and responsible government in the state. He said that the Congress party has left Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh alone in the election campaign and all the senior leaders of the Congress are missing from the election campaign in Himachal Pradesh.

Prime Minister further said that Union Government has launched a nationwide campaign against corruption and his crusade against corruption will continue.

Congress leader and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh campaigned in Shimla and Kullu districts. He said that his government has made all round development of the state and people are well aware of the development.

Polling in Himachal Pradesh will be held on Thursday, the 9th of November in all the 68 assembly constituencies in a single phase.
