
Chief Secretary of Gujarat J N Singh today said that about 15 Japanese companies are going to invest in Gujarat in a big way, adding that three of them have started procuring land from state government.
Memorandum of Understanding for proposed investment will be signed in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe at Mahatma Mandir tomorrow. Making this announcement, Mr. J N Singh said that more companies will come to invest in Gujarat. He said that Gujarat government will also sign Memorandum of Cooperation with the Government of Japan.
He said that 55 member strong business delegation is coming to Gujarat along with Prime Minister of Japan. They will visit the Japanese Industrial Township. It is learnt that the Gujarat will get soft loan from Japan for infrastructure development and development of Alang Ship breaking yard.
