Nine Health Institutions in the State Receive National Quality Assurance Standard Certification

Raipur, December 27
The Central Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has awarded the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certificate to nine health centers in the state that provide excellent healthcare services and better treatment to patients. These include health centers in Janjgir-Champa, Surajpur, Mahasamund, Durg, and Bilaspur. The central government has honored health centers that meet national quality assurance standards with the NQAS certificate.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal congratulated the doctors and other medical staff of all these hospitals that have received the certificate of excellence, saying that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the work of expanding health facilities in Chhattisgarh is continuously ongoing. He expressed confidence that these hospitals will continue to maintain their excellence in serving patients and set new benchmarks for other hospitals in the state.
A team from the Central Ministry of Health had assessed the quality of services available to patients at these nine health centers in November. The team also took feedback from patients in this regard. In the team’s assessment, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Primary Health Center Chungri in Surajpur district scored 86.65%, Sub-Health Center Pakni scored 86.43%, Palda scored 84.11%, and Jazawal scored 80.44%, Primary Health Center Tilai in Janjgir-Champa district scored 88.22%, and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Sukulpura scored 88.57%, Sub-Health Center Sonasilli in Mahasamund district scored 87.32%, Sub-Health Center Kodia in Durg district scored 82.50%, and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Center Lufa in Bilaspur district scored 83.83%.
It is noteworthy that before awarding the National Quality Assurance Standard certificate, a team of experts examines the hospital’s services and satisfaction level on various parameters. These include available services, patient rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management, and outcomes. Only those hospitals that meet these stringent standards are issued quality certificates by the Central Ministry of Health.
In essence, this news article highlights the recognition of nine health institutions in Chhattisgarh for their outstanding healthcare services. The certification is a testament to the state’s commitment to improving healthcare facilities and patient care.
