Naxal-hit areas in Chhattisgarh witnessing major transformation through Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana

Pleasant scenes are now emerging from the once-n Naxal-affected areas of Chhattisgarh. In one year of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s good governance, Naxal extremism has been receding, and Naxal-affected people are taking their first steps towards a new beginning. Naxal-affected villages are now becoming prosperous under the tenure of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai’s government.
In a mass marriage ceremony held under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana at the Mendhka Dobra temple complex in Dantewada district headquarters, 220 brides and grooms from across the district tied the knot. One of these couples is from Puvarti village. Puvarti is a village that was once a stronghold of Naxalites Hidma and Deva, but after the change of government, the picture of Puvarti is changing.
After the establishment of the camp, the people of Puvarti are living fearlessly and government schemes are transforming their lives, as a result of which a soldier stationed in Puvarti has now started a new life by marrying a Naxal-affected woman. Among these 220 couples, two couples from Niyad Nella Nar village also vowed to stay together for seven lifetimes. With the continuous action against Naxalites after the arrival of the Vishnudev Sai government in Chhattisgarh, the morale of the villagers is constantly increasing.
Under the leadership of the state’s illustrious Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government is implementing numerous schemes for the benefit of the village, the poor, and the farmers. Benefiting from these welfare schemes, poor families are getting an opportunity to move towards development.
In this mass marriage in a remote area of Dantewada district, 220 couples are taking the plunge into married life today. This has all been possible due to the government’s Chief Minister’s Kanya Dan Yojana, which reflects the government’s commitment to serving the poor families.
Apart from this, the field staff of the Women and Child Development Department also deserve congratulations for registering eligible young men and women from various villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods and benefiting them from the mass marriage.
Two couples from Niyad Nella Nar Gram Dhurali also benefited from the mass marriage
Among the couples who accepted the sacred vows of Vedic mantras and saptapadi, two couples were residents of Niyad Nella Nar Gram Dhurali. These included Smt. Seema Bhaskar and Sudari Telam. Seema is a 10th pass and works in the Nagar Palika Parishad Bade Bacheli. Seema’s marriage took place with Remash Bhaskar who is a farmer. Similarly, Sundari Telam is a laborer, and Dhanu Kunjam is also a laborer. Both the newlyweds praised the government’s scheme and called it useful for the poor and needy. They said that this scheme has not only freed us from the heavy expenses of marriage but also the amount of Rs 35,000 coming to the girl’s account after marriage provides support for expenses after marriage.
