Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has alleged that Modi government at the Centre is discriminating against Congress-ruled Karnataka. Addressing an election rally in Vijayapura, Mrs. Gandhi said, the states which suffered due to drought were given compensation by the Centre but Karnataka was provided with the least.
She also questioned Prime Minister’s “Sabka Saath, Sabka vikas” slogan while alleging neglect of Karnataka at poll. Mrs. Gandhi wanted to know what happened to the institution of Lok Pal, the anti-graft watchdog that was proposed to be set up.
