Two Army jawans were killed on Wednesday as Pakistani troops ambushed a patrol party along the Line of Control in Keran sector of Kashmir.
An army official said, patrol party of the Army was ambushed and fired upon by Pakistani troops, resulting in killing of two soldiers. Official sources said, Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing, targeting forward posts on the LoC in Keran sector .
The incident comes just hours after three Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in a night-long encounter with security forces in Budgam.
