Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said the territorial integrity of the north-eastern states will not be compromised while concluding the final agreement on Naga insurgency issue.
He was replying to a question in Shokhuvi, Nagaland today about the possibility of territorial integrity of three northeastern states — Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur — getting
affected by the peace agreement.
The three states strongly oppose the demand of the insurgent group NSCN-IM to integrate their Naga-inhabited areas.
The Home Minister also appreciated the work being done by the current interlocutor, R N Ravi in finding a solution.
