BJP leader and Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Smriti Irani today participated in BJP’s Gujarat Maha Samark Abhiyan at Vejalpur area in Ahmedabad. Irani also unveiled the patrika on Women empowerment schemes carried out by Gujarat government at BJP media centre in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Kapil Sibal met the members of the core committee of Patidar Anamamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) yesterday night in Ahmedabad. It is believed that the formula for giving reservation to Patidar community was discussed in the meeting. However, no official announcement was made regarding the outcome of the meeting.
