Six terrorists and one IAF Garud soldier were killed in a fierce gunfight in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district Saturday afternoon.
The gunfight started late afternoon on Saturday following a cordon and search operation launched after receiving specific inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
Defence spokesman told AIR that the slain militants includes LeT Commander Mahmood Bhai. Another soldier was injured in the operation.
