Government will address all issues seriously related to the Centre’s recent notification banning sale and purchase of cattle from animal markets for slaughter.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, Environment and Forest Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, the Central government will reach out to persons, who have objection over the issue.
On Supreme Court’s notice to Centre seeking response on pleas challenging the notification, the Minister said, the Apex Court has given time till 11th of July but the government will file its response before it.
The ban on sale and purchase of cattle from animal markets for slaughter has been questioned by different political parties and organizations.
