President Ram Nath Kovind arrives in Bhubaneswar

President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Bhubaneswar today on a two-day visit to Odisha. Mr Kovind was given a ceremonial guard of honour at the airport from where he straight drove to Cuttack. In Cuttack, President paid tribute to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose at his birthplace in Odia Bazar. Mr Kovind also dedicated the Anand Bhawan Museum and Learning Centre to the people of Odisha. Anand Bhawan is the ancestral house of legendary leader Biju Patnaik.

The President will later visit the National Law University to deliver the third foundation lecture. He will leave for Puri in the evening.
Tomorrow, Mr Kovind will visit the 12th century Jagannath temple to offer prayer to Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balavadra and Devi Subhadra. The President will address the centenary celebration of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sangathan at Puri. President will grace the convocation of IIT Bhubaneswar and inaugurate the Institute of Chemical Technology-Indian Oil Corporation Bhubaneswar campus.

Mr.Kovind will also lay the foundation stone of a skill development institute set up by the IOCL before returning to New Delhi.
