President Kovind to visit Prayagraj to offer prayers

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh today. During his stay, Kovind will take part in several programmes, including offering prayers at Sangam at Kumbh Mela.

He will also meet saints and seers. The President will also unveil the statue of Maharishi Bhardwaj in the town.

Later, Kovind will participate in Vishwa Shanti Yagya at Parmarth Niketan in Arail. He will also inaugurate the two-day Gandhian Resurgence Summit on the occasion of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi’s 150 birth anniversary. The summit is being organised by the Parmarath Niketan, the Harijan Sevak Sangh and the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance.
