Polling in Srinagar’s 38 booths to be held tomorrow

Election Commission has ordered re-polling in 38 polling stations of Srinagar Lok Sabha seat and These polling stations fall under Chadoora, Budgam, Beerwah, Khan Sahib and Chrarisharief assembly constituencies.

The polling will be held tomorrow from 7 AM to 4 PM. The Commission took the decision after going through the reports submitted by Returning Officers and Observers.

The polling for the Lok Sabha seat was held on last Sunday. Chief Electoral Officer Shantmanu said the Election Commission’s decision on repolling was taken for those centres “where polling was hit by violence”.The counting will be held on April 15.
