Congress and certain section in the media is spreading disinformation and creating misconception among the minorities about the BJP, alleged BJP National President Amit Shah.
Addressing the BJP’s minority morcha conference in New Delhi, Shah said that BJP led Government ruled the country for 11 years and no one from any minority community can say that the party has not allowed them to live freely with their customs and traditions.
The party is running government in 16 states and not a single major communal violence took place in these states, said Shah and attacked Congress, SP and BSP over the issue and accused them of indulging in vote bank politics.
He alleged that it is the policy of Congress which is responsible for backwardness of minorities in the country. Mr. Shah asserted that every section of the society feels safe under Narendra Modi government as the regime believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas instead of appeasement.
