PM Narendra Modi credits labourers and workers for India achieving electrification of all villages on 28th April

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has credited labourers and workers for India achieving electrification of all villages on 28th April. Kick-starting his campaign for upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka at a rally in Chamaraj Nagar, Mr Modi said he dedicates this historic achievement to hard-working labourers.

He said his government delivered on the promise of supplying power to all villages whereas former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh-led UPA failed. He said Dr Singh had promised to provide electricity to every village by 2009.

Seeking support for BJP in the elections on 12th of this month Mr Modi asked the people of Karnataka to vote for development.
