
In Jammu and Kashmir, normal life has been paralysed in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and other adjoining towns and areas following the killing of three local LeT terrorists in an encounter in Kakapora area in the wee hours on Thursday.
A spontaneous shutdown is being observed in the district and adjoining areas with tense situation in the areas. Heavy deployment of police and security forces has been made to maintain law and order.
All trains running in Kashmir valley have been suspended Thursday. A railway official said train services between Srinagar-Badgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in north have been suspended.
Similarly, train run from Badgam-Srinagar-Pulwama-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region has also been suspended.
