NIA questions 2 persons in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu for allegedly supporting IS on social media

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has questioned two persons in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu for allegedly supporting the Islamic State terror group on social media. Police said, based on posts on some social media platforms, NIA officials zeroed in on the duo and they are carrying out an inquiry.

The two allegedly posted content on Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter, supporting the IS activities. Police said, adequate security personnel have been deployed in the area where questioning is going on.
