Moody’s upgrading India’s rating lifts domestic stock markets

Global rating agency, Moody’s upgrading India’s sovereign credit rating lifted the domestic stock markets, today.

So the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange surged 236 points, or 0.7 percent, to close at 33,343.

The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange jumped 69 points, or 0.7 percent, to 10,284.
