
BJP President Amit Shah described the grand alliance as an eyewash, illusion and based on falsehood and asked the party workers to expose it among the people.
Defence Minister and senior party leader Nirmala Sitharaman briefed media after the day one of BJP’s two-day national executive meeting in New Delhi.
Quoting Mr Shah, Ms. Sitharaman said, the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition shows their frustration and disruptive politics. She said that the BJP is working on making India, while Congress is indulging in politics of breaking India.
Quoting BJP president, Ms. Sitharaman said, the next Lok Sabha election will be fought on the basis of Modi government’s achievements and asked party workers to take government’s good work to the people.
Mr. Shah said, youth, poor, woman and every section has been touched by the NDA government’s schemes. He also spoke about Kerala flood and urged party workers to keep contributing for the rehabilitation.
