Meeting of BJP ruled CMs underway in Delhi to chalk out strategy for elections

In order to chalk out strategy for upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, BJP chief Amit Shah is chairing a meeting of Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states in New Delhi today.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states and other senior party leaders are attending the meeting at the party headquarters.

It is believed that the meeting will take stock of welfare works being carried out in the BJP-ruled states.

The meeting has assumed significance in view of upcoming assembly elections in three states and the Lok Sabha polls.
The agenda of good governance and running pro-poor policies have been key features of the Chief Ministers’ meetings, which have been taking place regularly since Mr Modi took over as Prime Minister in 2014.

BJP’s Deputy Chief Ministers in different states are also attending the day-long meeting.
