
The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day after continuous uproar by agitated Congress members on attack on Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Gujarat. After the first adjournment when the House met at noon, the situation was no different.
Congress members were on their feet demanding action against all the accused involved in the attack. TMC leader Sudip Bandopadhya said the attack on Gandhi, is a reflection of intolerance and urged the House to condemn the incident.
Parliamentary Affairs minister Ananth Kumar said if Gandhi is not availing his SPG security, government should withdraw it. Congress members then trooped into the well of the House shouting slogans. In the din, the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the House for the day.
