In Jammu and Kashmir, a joint team of Army and Police gunned down three terrorists in Pulwama district late last night.
Police said, the encounter took place in Kakapora area last evening following an intelligence input that three terrorists were holed up in a house located in a densely populated locality.
An Army Officer sustained a minor injury in the gun battle.
Director General of Police Dr SP Vaid told media that the identity and affiliation of the killed terrorists are being ascertained.
Authorities have suspended internet services in Pulwama following the incident.
On Tuesday, two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Sopore township of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.
