The main event of International Yoga Day is being organised in Dehradun, Uttrakhand tomorrow. As per information received, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to participate in this mega event at the lawns of Forest Research Institute in the capital.
In Dehradun preparations are underway on a large scale for over a week to organize the International yoga day function.
To make the event successful several ‘Walk for Yoga’ have been held in the city in the past few days, including the one undertaken by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and his Cabinet colleagues.
People from different walks of life in large numbers have registered themselves online and offline for this mega event. Free yoga training programs at Dehradun and Haridwar have been held for the participants. A large number of participants will perform different asanas at the venue in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
