
India wants African countries an opportunity to develop together based on mutual trust and respect.
This was stated by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu to the visiting African dignitaries in New Delhi yesterday.
He expressed happiness at the growing friendship and bilateral ties between India and various African countries.
Naidu was interacting with the Vice Presidents of Zimbabwe, Gen. (Rtd.) Dr. Constantino Chiwenga, (Uganda) Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, and Malawi, Dr.
Saulos Klaus Chilima as well as the Secretary General for Burundi, Major General Ndayishimiye Evariste at a luncheon hosted at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
An official release said Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and other dignitaries were present.
