The officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) will adopt a family of the martyred soldiers of the Defence forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
Breifing reporters in New Delhi today, Secretary of Central IAS association, Sanjay Bhoosreddy said, the officers will ensure that all the dues and ex-gratia should be paid to the dependents of the martyred soldiers on time by the concerned organisation.
He said, they will also ensure that the children of the martyred soldier could get education of their choice. Bhoosreddy said, the officers will also regularly cross check with the family that they are not subject to any harassment or exploitation through property disputes.
He said, state associations have also been asked to ensure immediate necessary action in this regard.
