
Dr Nirantar Ganesh, grandson of former External Affairs Minister S M Krishna, today joined the Congress notwithstanding the fact that his grand father had quit it and joined the BJP recently after being in the party for over 5 decades. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President Dinesh Gundurao welcomed Dr Ganesh into party fold.
Speaking to newsmen, Dr Ganesh said that he is joining the party without any aspiration and was impressed by the manner in which the Siddaramaiah government was functioning and also by the Party’s programme. He thanked AICC supremo Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi for welcoming him into the party. He said that he had been serving the poor by giving free treatment and continue to do so in the coming days also.
