
In Jammu and Kashmir, five Army Jawans have gone missing after avalanche hit army posts today.
Security Sources averred that the rescue operation is underway. Meanwhile, Srinagar recorded first snowfall of the season today.

The Srinagar Jammu national highway linking Kashmir with the rest of the world remained closed for the 2nd consecutive day due to slippery road condition following snowfall.
The Mughal road in Shopian district connecting Jammu region through Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region is also closed. Road clearance operation is, however, in full swing.
The higher reaches of Drass, Kargil and Gulmarg have also received fresh snowfall.
