The Enforcement Directorate has arrested journalist Upendra Rai under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
An ED team put Rai under arrest at the Tihar jail in national capital last night hours after a Delhi court granted him bail in a case of alleged extortion and dubious financial transactions registered by the CBI.
Officials said, the Delhi-based scribe was arrested for custodial interrogation. He will be produced before a court today.
