Union Minister of State for social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar today said, Dr. Ambedkar does not belong to one community, but is an asset of the nation and a true inspiration for every Indian.
Mr. Gurjar was speaking at a function on presenting Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Awards in New Delhi to students of 10th and 12th standard belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe community from all over the country.
Congratulating the award winners, he said, students should know about the life of Dr. Ambedkar, and draw inspiration from his struggles and his philosophy of equality.
Meritorious students of underprivileged communities were felicitated with citation of merit and cash award for their hard work at the function.
