Union Minister Arun Jaitley today said that dealing with terrorists who refuse to surrender is not muscular policy but a law and order issue, which cannot wait for a political solution.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Jaitley hit out at Congress and human rights groups and questioned whether a suicide bomber who is willing to die and kill should be dealt with offering Satyagraha.
He said, the policies are to protect the ordinary citizens of the valley, get them freedom from the terror and provide them with a better quality of life and environment.
The Minister also said, it is paramount to protect India’s sovereignty and the right to life of its citizens.
Mr. Jaitley said, the leading human rights organisations which have been taken over by the ultra-left, have never spoken about the deprivation of the human rights of the innocent citizens.
He said, even though the Congress Party historically and ideologically would have been opposed to these groups, they have earned a sympathy in Rahul Gandhi’s heart.
He said the political adventurists in parties like AAP, TMC and the like only look for a political opportunity in these groups.
The Minister asserted that NDA government policy has to be Save the Human Rights of every Indian from terrorists, be it a tribal or a Kashmiri.
