Congress today hit out at the BJP for allegedly bribing Patidar leaders. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Manish Tewari said, BJP is nervous and desperate to win the Gujarat Assembly elections. Mr Tewari said the Election Commission must announce the dates of Gujarat Assembly polls.
Hours after joining the BJP, an activist of the Hardik Patel-led Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti claimed that he was offered one crore rupees for switching loyalties. The BJP had already rubbished the charge.
