Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has reiterated that the Centre will not impose Hindi on any one.

After inaugurating the ‘MODI Fest’ at Tirupur in Tamil Nadu yesterday, he said, it is for the individuals to decide upon the languages they want to learn. He added that learning more languages will be in the interests of the people, though it is not compulsory.

Minister Venkaiah Naidu took pride that there is no corruption charge against the BJP-led NDA Government in the last three years. He also observed that demonetization move has helped to bring 91 lakh people into the tax net. He denied the involvement of the BJP in the party affairs of the AIADMK and appealed the party factions to merge themselves into a single entity to pursue the goals of its departed leader J. Jayalalithaa.
