Centre is working on principles of Sant Kabir Das by adopting Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas policy: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that Central Government is working on the principles of Famous Saint Kabir Das and doing Sabka Saath sabka vikaas by providing better health care, homes, food and social security to the countrymen through various flagship schemes.

Prime Minister was addressing a public rally at Maghar, the salvation ground of Famous mystic poet and 15th century saint Kabeer Das in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing the large gathering PM attacked opposition and said that some parties are creating rift in the society and it’s high time to to spread teachings of Kabeer Das to everyone to counter such devisive forces.

In his signature style PM started his address in local Bhojpuri dialect and said that just like Kabeer, who liberated Maghar from the curse, central government is also trying to take along every part of country to the path of development which was earlier reserved for some selected regions only.

He also slammed the previous Smajwadi Party government of Uttar Pradesh for blocking the work under Pradhanmantri Awaas yojna during their tenure.

This Rally was part of the celebrations to mark the 500th death anniversary of Kabir Das in which Thousands of followers of Kabeer popularly known as kabeerpanthis and BJP workers in large numbers were present.

Prior to the rally Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the salvation ground of Saint Kabeer Das and laid foundation stone of Sant Kabeer Academy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sant Kabir’s cave, paid floral tribute and offered a chadar at the mausoleum of famous saint. On this occasion PM unveiled a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone of the Sant Kabir Academy, which will highlight the great saint’s teachings and philosophy.

The institute sprawled in three acres and will be set up at a cost of approximately 24 crore rupees . Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the two-day ‘Kabir Mahotsav’ at Maghar and saw the performances by famous folk singers Bheru Singh Chauhan and Bharti Bandhu.

The Kabeer festival, organised by the Union Culture Ministry, features folk music based on KABEERVANI, dance performances and musical theatre in which artistes from all over the country are participating. Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Mahesh Sharma, Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath and many state ministers also attended the function.
