BSF foiled an infiltration bid along the International Border in Jammu district today. The troops killed an intruder and destroyed two Pakistani posts. BSF sources informed that the troops observed a movement of two to three people in Arnia sector in the wee hours.
Troops challenged them and opened fire resulting in the death of one intruder. The other intruders managed to escape as the area was engulfed in dense fog.
Meanwhile, launching an effective retaliation against the killing of BSF jawan in Samba sector yesterday, BSF also destroyed two Pakistani posts from where mortar shelling was initiated last night.
