BJP today hit out at Congress and said it is trying to demoralize the Indian army.
Briefing media in New Delhi, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said Congress should rise above politics and not demoralise the Army. Mr Prasad said that by criticising the surgical strikes, Congress is trying to break the spirit of the armed forces.
Congress had earlier accused NDA government and BJP of politicising surgical strikes after video of the action was released.
Talking to media, party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that blood and sacrifice of brave soldiers cannot become political vote garnering tool.
